Spring Hill College: Close to home and ranked among the best in the country

For those students who ask, “what’s the right college for me?” among our answers is that Spring Hill has earned some key distinctions over the past year. These honors add to the already top-tier education students receive at Spring Hill College.
RANKED NATIONALLY AS A TOP 10 SCHOOL
I couldn’t be prouder of our College. Spring Hill was recently named among the top 10 colleges and universities in the country to provide a valuable return on investment for students. Forbes Magazine published the rankings, developed by an independent think tank.
The article, “Third Way’s Price-To-Earnings Premium: A New Way To Measure The Economic Value Of College” states that Spring Hill College ranks among the top 10 colleges and universities in the country on a new return on investment (ROI) calculator. The Price-To-Earnings Premium, or PEP, is a new method developed to calculate the ROI of various higher education programs.
The article’s author noted that the “list illustrates that colleges can earn a good PEP score (the shorter the time to pay down net costs, the better) in two ways: low net costs … where students can cover their college costs in less than one year; or high median earnings ten years after enrollment, as is the case with Stanford, Princeton, Georgia Tech and Harvard.”
For our students, this means that they can recoup their college costs by securing the kind of job that will “payback” their investment in less than a year from graduation. As well, the ranking indicates that a Spring Hill degree provides opportunities for higher than average earnings 10 years after graduation. Check out this video that helps tell the story:

We also have another example of significant outcomes for our students. In 2019, 99.5 percent of our class of 2019 alumni placed professionally, in service or graduate school within six months of their graduation. Outcomes are critically important. Students and families want to feel that their college investment is worth their time and money.

Equally important is the college campus environment. Our students have always felt at home here.
